Garibaldi Neve

Garibaldi Neve, Jan 27th. Broke trail from Elfin on. Ski pen variable ~15cm treeline, zipper crust on solar aspects & boilerplate on the Northerly side of the glacier. Not much for good skiing but great views. Breakable crust on lake - suffer fest to end the day. Extensive wet loose to sz 3 on southerly aspects from previous cycle. Kept the rope on from the toe to Sharkfin. Open holes as is expected for January, but coverage suspiciously decent. Mt Garibaldi is full of slots & worthy to consider the snowpack at that elevation may have escaped the rain event - photo attached.
