2022-11-11 We skied a small couloir off the SW shoulder of Ursus minor at 2570m. The travel up connaught creek and the climb to ursus tress were in good shape for the time of the year. Variable coverage everywhere, from 40cm to 150cm. There was lots of hidden rocks in hospital bowl... Snow Profile : Aspect: SSE Elev: 2230m Angle: 27° HS 130. Snowpack is righ side up and no significant layer was found. 30cm of F snow on 1m of 4F to 1F. CTX The surface snow was wind affected at 2400m and started to be sun-affected. We also found widespread SH up to TL. Wx: Few clouds, inversion, calm wind. Broken sky as we left the pass.
