Went out expecting to have a hard time finding any snow that hadn’t been wind-affected and were pleasantly surprised. We stopped at the very top of the tree line as the conditions were starting to worsen the higher we went. As we walked up, we went through some patches with 10-15cm on top of the crust layer and other patches where we were right on the crust. The trees offered us some fantastic turns in nice, light powder. The sun stayed out all day and there was no wind, so we stayed nice and warm. Overall, a fantastic day of skiing.
