Snowfall, heavy at times, continued all day, with a storm total of 12" and .9" water as of 4 pm. Winds were strong to extreme from the SW but eased in the afternoon.

Snowpack

Last night's and today's snowfall fell right-side-up and bonded well to DF grains from Tuesday's storm. Crusts and isolated pockets of near surface facets are below this week's storm accumulations, but this initially weak interface appears to be improving in strength. No signs of instability on steep W and S aspects below and near treeline or moderate E aspects above treeline in our operational snowpack.
