Weather

Clouds were in and out in the Never Summer wilderness on 11/16 and 11/17. Light snow fall was intermittent, totaling maybe 1-2" new at the Nokhu hut.

Snowpack

Surprisingly stable conditions for mid-November. We were comfortable skiing 35-40 degree snow. In one test pit dug on a 36 degree slope our shovel shear failed with moderate pressure and a quality 3 shear and our CCT never really failed; CCT 30.
