Weather

Overcast at 1030am, becoming thin overcast by noon. Winds calm at TH, but became gusty from NW soon after, especially in exposed areas. Temps dropped during tour, although not dramatically.

Snowpack

Storm snow at TH was on the order of 18". Higher up there was an obvious density change at about 6-8" below surface. Increasing winds just starting to create soft wind slab in top 1-2". No signs of instability. Snow pit showed no slab with slowly increasing density down to about 10cm above ground. 10cm basal layer of 2mm facets.
