Weather

Clear and sunny all day. Some thin high clouds later in the afternoon.

Snowpack

Only observed the upper 50 cm. Very wet upper 20 cm (can readily squeeze water from snowball). Melt freeze crust between 20-30 cm. Percolation columns below this melt freeze crust to an ice layer down 50 cm.

Avalanche

Several wet loose avalanches from near and above treeline elevations on east through south aspects. One small slab pocket above treeline off of the Ruby-Owen saddle.
