Weather
A lot of sun. Temps stayed cool on ridgetops due to West winds but E-faces soon began to heat up. Avalanche was triggered around 11-1130 and another larger wet loose occurred on an East slope at 130.
Snowpack
A thin layer of graupel covered most slopes with a thin (5-10cm) but stout crust on N- faces with rounds below.
Avalanche
We witnessed a wet slab occur on a SE aspect around 1130 at around 12,800 feet. Slide was R1D2, and we thought it was a natural release all day. We even heard of a skier triggered slide from another party and though it was a separate incidence. This was until review of my photos which show a skier or two very near to the slide when it occurred. This was on the SE face of Twining Peak on a slope with many rockbands,
