Weather

Intense snowfall started late Fri night and continued into Sat afternoon. Snowfall rates seemed to reach 2 inches/hr (S5). Skies went from obscured for most the AM to broken with areas of blue sky visible through thin clouds by afternoon. Temps dropped significantly throughout the day.

Snowpack

HS varied greatly 35-105cm. Low elevation slopes under tree canopy were very shallow. Total storm snow was 60-80cm w/ slopes below 9k being shallowest. All slopes had very shallow snowpack prior to 12/15.
