Felt warm out today. Clothes were wet after digging pit.

Snowpack

Cleared storm board after last storm. 16"HST had settled to 11" with 1.2"SWE. Start zones and tracks have filled in since last visit. Start zones now hold 3 feet of snow. Some small point releases noted on banks from last storm. Snowpit showed significantly less depth hoar present than in past years. I was surprised to note no crust present from the post-Christmas warm-up. However easy ct scores indicate Jan 4 storm snow interface may become problem layer. Although warm start to warm storm will continue to speed settlement of last storm's snow.
