Feather peak area. Nice inversion near the Hwy summit (-9C). Dug a quick pit NE aspect 1200m. Five crusts identified in the top 50cm. Layer at 35cm from the surface failed on CT hard ~6. Snow hardness of ~pencil throughout. Bulletproof suncrust and scoured on SW slopes, wind deposited softer snow on NE slopes.
