At Estin Hut (11,200 ft) Three days of calm, clear, intense solar. Highs just below freezing. Clear and very cold nights. Lows in the low teens.
Snowpack
Widespread surface hoar formation on all aspects. North aspects at 10,300 feet and above. Bright solar killed some of it SE, S, SW aspects below 10,500, but from 11,500 and above, surface hoar observed up to 2.5cm. W aspect off Charles Peak, 11,690ft, HS 150cm, CTN, ECTN. Snow surface was widespread surface hoar on a 1-2cm sun crust.
