Blue bird sky's, mid 20's degree temparure

Snowpack

Very unstable snowpack, moderate conditions posted on website, noticed unusable cracking and whoomps on pervious trip earlier in the week on Monday-Tuesday 12/19-12/20. No obvious signs of avalanches on day of triggerd Avalanche.

Avalanche

Roughly a large D1 smaller D2 slide could have easily buried and killed a person and burried a large car. Avalanche occurred on a north facing rocky slope and run off debris collected in a terrain trap gully.
