Cold, obscured skies, poor visibility, snowing up to S1, Strong S winds w/ intense blowing snow near treeline, moderate winds below treeline.
Snowpack
HST 20-25cm. Wind Slabs were rapidly building near treeline. Upper elevation slopes were significantly stripped/loaded by winds. Surfaces were wind stiffened even in open areas below treeline. Only minor cracking observed
Avalanche
None observed, though visibility was poor into early afternoon.
