Snowpack
Snow surface was a mixed bag of surface hoar and near-surface facets on n'ly and shaded aspects and a m/f crust on s'ly aspects. Overall snow sturcture was very weak, and composed of mostly facets. Westerly and Southerly aspects had undergone a lot of melting since my last visit on the 2nd. Some areas were completely bare. Forested areas still had 4-6" of snow on them. North-facing slopes had undergone little change in terms of snow height and structure. HS in the study plot was 14", and it was 16" on the 2nd. Coverage on the cliffs and in the start zones above was similar to last week.
