In Silverton, snowfall has just picked up with only 1/2" accum so far. Forecast still promises a decent shot of snow for today, especially over the higher passes, where good dynamics may make up for the lack of moisture in this storm. We'll see how it goes. Currently in Silverton @0430: Snowing lightly (S-1); HN 1/2"; Winds- light to calm; temp 19F. Current on Passes: Remote snow monitoring sites show about 2" - 4" on the passes so far. Chain law has been in effect most the night on Coal Bank. Weather Stations @ 0300: Many of our wx sites are not reporting due to ongoing communication problems. Sorry for the inconvenience.
