Weather

clear. light winds in the basin. Severe winds up high. Severe snow transport observed off Silverton Mountain.

Snowpack

AVG HS 135 on north slopes BTL. bottom 20 CM on SPX was 2 mm facets. middle 60 CM was 1 F slab. top 20 was 4 F. CT M 13 Q1 SC at 75 down on 2 mm facets. 1 F layer was supportable though. Was able to support the weight of a skier with out punching through to the bottom. shallow spots observed (less than 30 CM) with no slab. Really good skiing!
