Snowpack
No pit dug. New snow depths variable on the southerly aspects - protected areas 8"-10" deep while more open areas had only a few inches of new snow over the old crusts. Much of the new snow was "punchy" or trap door - denser slab over low density snow that fell early in the latest storm. Surprised to find this on the north aspects as well, but less evident on areas further down-slope from open transitions (more protected).
