1500- Below Treeline East Aspect. Broken skies, calm winds. Cloud cover and winds, out of SW, increasing through afternoon. Light snow transport witnessed around 1600.
Snowpack
Below treeline East facing slopes held a snowpack from 30-60 cm. Crust present on slopes steeper than 30 degrees. No collapsing observed, and small localized (6inch or less) cracking on crust in isolated areas. Little to no slab formation observed. On a 22 degree East slope below treeline, HS 55 cm, ECTX, CTN. Right side up pack with F hardness snow down to 40cm and 4f to 4f+ throughout rest of pack.
