Snowpack
Persistent hard slab remains around 25cm-40cm from ground, P to K hardness, sitting upon large faceted grains. Layers from early to late December, created by wind and melt-freeze, show a fairly significant temperature gradient and beginning of near-crust faceting, especially just below treeline. New storm snow bonding fairly well to old snow. New snow sluffs rather easily.
