Snowpack
HS in this area doubled in start zones since last observations on 11/16, now at 150 cm in east facing start zones. Recent storm snow makes up about 50cm of the upper snowpack. Seems well bonded to old surface. Lots of surface hoar formation observed on all aspects of this tour up to treeline. Largest on NE aspects, up to 5mm in sheltered areas. Biggest snowpack change has occurred on N-NE aspects near and below treeline. Snowpack now made up of mostly low density facets on these shady aspects. Some small D1 facets sluffs occurring on steep north aspects below treeline.
