Weather

Rapidly warming, but cool in shaded areas, no new snow.Winds seemed to increase a bit during the afternoon. On the 6th 3" new, and a low of 11F. On the 8th, no new, 22F for a low.

Snowpack

Surface snow got moist to wet. Some water pooling at the surface on east aspects, I could squeeze water out of surface snow at noon below treeline. Water did not seem to percolate very deep. Discomforting 2mm NSF down 31 cm resting on MF crust. on same east aspect, resulted in some rumbling collapses.
