Weather

Broken clouds, becoming overcast. Cloud level dropping into the valley @ 13:00. Light snow S-1 in the afternoon w/ little accumulation. Mostly calm in the valley. Warm temps but staying below freezing.

Snowpack

Average HS 100cm w/ some areas as low as 50cm. Surface crusts exists on all SE slopes and some sunny E slopes. Overall the snowpack on the E-NE slopes on Snodgrass has become much weaker and faceted in the past month. Conditions are punchier, and definition between layers is disappearing b/c of faceting. Below 10,000ft significant crossloading has occurred from NW valley winds. Isolated areas of hard, supportive windslab. Put a umber of ski cuts in steep convexities, with minimal sluffing.
