Healy Pass

Plenty of fresh snow on Healy Pass, deep powder in the trees and in areas sheltered from the wind, I wouldn't look to do anything in the alpine anytime soon as it looked very wind affected.

Completed a compression test with results on 3 different layers. Layer at 80cm and at 65cm both had sudden planer fractures at 4 & then 10 taps, we then triggered a layer at 45cm which was a resistant fracture at 26 taps. We completed an ECT after and got the same results but none of the fractures showed any propagation. Snow was wind effected in open areas but still quite soft in the meadows.
