Breakable crust about 5 mm thick with a few mm of wet snow on top. Below treeline the crust began to soften up after 11:00.

Weather

Some wet snowfall between roughly 10:30 and 11:30. Over cast before that and broken clouds and sun afterward. Didn't get the temperature but it felt fairly warm from the parking lot to the ridge.
