Spent 3 days at Thunder Meadow Cabin, we snowboarded a hand full of North West facing chutes. Found wind affected snow on ridge top and along sides of chutes. Rider triggered two small wind slabs 10cm-15cm deep, sluff management is crucial with early season conditions at bottom of chutes. Probed approximate 110cm at 1750m. Bottom of Cabin and Orca Bowls have thin snow pack with huge alders, prepare to be boot packing for a couple hundred meters.
