8812 Size 2.5 Avalanche

Our group standing at the bottom of Balu when the slide occurred. There was a large group at the top of 8812. We swept the debris with another group for signals as there was no communication from the upper group. No signals. The group at the top did not appear in distress or that they were preparing for a search. Crown of the slide was near the top of the run close to Alpine off one of the steeper slopes.
