Warm and sunny spring conditions at Keystone. Riding about 20cm of loose surface snow. Wet and hard under. Snowpack at 225cm where we sprinted. Dug a 1m pit. Wet and heavy but stable right to bottom. Hand test fractured about 35cm down with 10 forceful shoulder strikes. Overall the snowpack seems stable however reports from other sledders said yesterday rock faces were releasing snow on higher angle terrain. Above treelike many slopes show recent slides.
