Point observation from a quick pit. 10cm of new snow overlays Dec 14 surface hoar layer. The Dec 6 Melt Freeze Crust complex is sitting down 42cm. Couldn't see the Dec 1 SH at this location. Total height of snow 105cm at this location, 90cm at 2225m (ridge top & wind affected). No results in my stability tests x2. Moist snow below 1600M. Freezing level sitting at about 1500m throughout the day.
