Today we went up the Torpy Trail to check out the skiing. Below 1500m was an adventure with very limited snow and lots of hazards... for your skis. There are still lots of stumps, logs and rocks poking up everywhere. Higher elevations are starting to shape up with 80cm of well consolidated snow at treeline and little wind affect in the alpine. It's still very much early season skiing but there are turns to be earned if you're willing to work for them.
