Ran out of daylight but wanted to see if the snow was affect from the previous 24hr warming event. Observed in the boulder garden of Harvey, just above treeline. CAUTION, HARVEY SKI-OUT ABOVE-BELOW TREELINE IS NOT IN GOOD SHAPE the temp rose above 0 while there was a lot of traffic on the ski out and has since then froze. icy conditions mixed with lots of sneaky alders and stumpys has made this ski out a huge hazard if you haven't dealt with it before. HS 47cm 2cm of new snow, facetted crystals. 12cm of melt forms layer. (less dense then bottom layer) 33cm of melt forms with a larger moisture content. BELOW TREELINE a light dusting of new snow on top of a 5mm melt freeze crust up until 1900m
