Weather

Very warm (didn’t get exact temp) but T Shirt weather. Very sunny without a cloud in the sky. 12200ft on S/SW facing slope of doirite

Snowpack

Above 11000ft in this location on the S/SW aspect, the snowpack felt very consolidated. Shallow snowpack (less than 50cm in many places). As the day was at peak heat the snow was very wet.

Avalanche

On a S / SW aspect, a small, natural point release from directly below the rock band became a decent sized wet loose. The snow entrained in a fan like pattern as it ran from roughly above 12200ft to approximately 11600.
