Wintry morning with obscured skies, cold temps, and significant snowfall (rate-S2). Winds were light to moderate, often swirling through the trees. Snowfall decreased throughout the day and valley skies started to open up after 12pm.
Snowpack
5-6" of new snow was observed on the main roadway around the lake (closed to vehicles). Small drifts were forming in open/exposed areas. No natural snowpack conditions were tested, as we kept our sleds to the main winter roadway.
