Climbing under another party in KC, which was a choice we felt was reasonable at the time. Had size 1 sluffing come down on us. Was able to dodge most of it, was only hit by debris on the edge of path. Was able to preemptively arrest & did not get transported. No major injuries. The sluffing looked like cornice debris. Remote /natural triggers of a cornice collapse seemed unlikely given forecast & weather, more inclined to believe the party above accidentally triggered it. Could not confirm as party did not stop when they skied past.
