Did two conservative runs on the North East aspect of Baldy Rocks, through the treed glades around Lunch box. Traversed from Monk Creek FSR below the top of the ridge to avoid heavy winds and dropping in on from Steep chutes. Snow appeared relatively stable, though wind affected. Did a quick pit test near the top and found an unstable layer deep down that (Approximately 130 CM down) Another group mentioned unstable wind slabs forming on the leeward (south) aspects of Baldy & Lightning Strike. Keep eyes open for these in coming days
