At 12 pm calm winds with light gusts, clear skies, 42F air temp. E aspect 10,600 ft.

Snowpack

Hs 130cm. 13 cm of relatively new snow on top of a crust 0.5cm to 3cm thick in places. Did not observe the near surface faceting in this location at this time. At noon today the top few cm of new snow was starting to heat up and form a snowball in hand, but not warm enough yet to push water out. E aspect on 18 degree slope, 10,600 ft. Open area below treeline.
