Cool and mostly cloudy with brief periods of sun. Mostly calm with the occasional light gust at ridgecrest.

Snowpack

Above 10,000ft we found a little more than 1m of snow in most places. The recent snow has no slab quality and seems to be bonding well to the old snow. The mid-pack is very supportive and 1F hard. In a quick pit no buried surface hoar was observed. Compression scores were <15 but ECT scores were in the low 20s with propagation on the basal facets.
