Overcast in AM becoming partly sunny by afternoon. Near freezing above 10,000ft. Calm to light winds from the southwest. No new snow.

Avalanche

Observed a large natural avalanche on a steep south-southeast facing slope in the Soda Creek drainage. Estimated to have occurred yesterday or today. Observed from across the drainage and photo is zoomed in. Even from a distance, appears to have failed on the Jan 4. PWL. SS-N-R2-D2-O
