Weather
Hn and Hs from Loveland Pass East plot. Cold and crisp day, but not unpleasant when sheltered from the wind. Ridgline wind transport was still evident, but there was little transport occurring down slope where I was. Lots of evidence of previous transport.
Snowpack
E and SE aspects had a 5-10cm melt-freeze crust under last night's new snow. Generally supportable, except for a few spots at lower elevation in the trees. By 1330 the new snow on E and SE aspects was moist to wet near and below treeline. The snowpack on N aspects remains cold. See attached snow pit profiles for more details.
