Sunny, cold (high was supposed to be 35 degrees F).

Shallow October snowpack with deeper windblown areas

Avalanche

It looked like a small slab avalanche in the above location. Aspect of slide was east facing. Elevation around 12,100 feet. It looks like it started on an approx 35 degree rollover near the top of the ridge. It didn't happen today, it was older, sun or wind affected.
