Weather

Cloudy over the divide with periods of light snow. N aspect ~12000 feet just north of James Peak.

Snowpack

Layers of finger hard wind slabs under ~4in of new snow. Performed ECT test. Propagating failure across the entire column at 23 strikes (3rd strike from the shoulder) in the wind slabs at ~1ft depth. N aspect ~12000 feet just north of James Peak.

Avalanche

Multiple small loose slides/sluffs seen on NE-E aspects on the far side of the bowl from our location. Two appeared skier triggered. ~12000 feet just north of James Peak.
