Sustained moderate SW winds, gusting to upper moderate N & ATL. Intermittent pulses of S1 snowfall. 20s°F ATL. Sky was BKN to OVC.
Snowpack
Supportable snowpack on a generally westerly uptrack. 4-6" new snow NTL, 6-8" new snow ATL. 10-12" thick soft storm slabs adjacent to lee ridges.
Avalanche
Triggered D1 (100'x200'x1') soft slab from ridge on uptrack by releasing fresh cornice onto slope, NE aspect @ 12500, 35-40° slope. Triggered another D1+ (50'×400'×1') soft slab on ski cut, NNW aspect, 12500, 35-40° slope. Did not observe any natural avalanche activity.
