Avalanche

This was a wet slab avalanche above the skin track on the south side of point 12,214 on the way to Northstar mountain. It had happened before yesterday (a friend saw it already slid on 4/3/2021), so probably 2-3 days old. Some of the debris pieces were the size of a large microwave. This slide did not run to the ground so there is a possibility that it could slide again. Today got quite warm, we avoided the skin track on the way back, but many people were crossing under the slope.
