Weather

Light snow with strong SW winds at ridge top. 3-4" of new storm snow over the past two days.

Snowpack

Weak below treeline with 3-4" of new snow on top. I didn't travel on wind-loaded slopes, but we did observe intense wind-drifting along ridgelines. Evidence of wind blow snow was abundant above 11500'. Windward slopes were scoured to bare rock, and leewards were building fresh slabs and cornices.
