Snowpack

About 3 inches of snow sits on a few inches of near surface facets. It's hard to tell how reactive the NSF layer will be in the future as there is still no slab to test it. I mainly traveled on west and northwest-facing from 10k to 11,600 ft, so mostly below treeline and just scratching the lower end of near treeline. All westerly slopes are shallow and mostly faceted. HS ranged from 60 to 100 cm. Westerly slopes have stayed cold and dry with no melt freeze crusts observed. No propagating results in ECTs as there is not much of a slab. The snowpack was just supportable enough for good travel.
