Weather

Mostly clear skies, light winds and a balmy 35 degrees.

Snowpack

Very thin. Any remaining snow on southerly-facing slopes near and above treeline is heavily glazed and crusted. Northerlies and shaded slopes are thin with 24 inches the deepest snow depths I could find. Overall the snowpack is weak and unsupportive, ski penetration is almost to the ground. I was unable to get quality results in extended column tests.
