Moderate breeze from SW, mostly cloudy, light (<1cm per hr) precip

Snowpack

Dug a pit at E-NE 11,960ft on a very wind affected slope. I expected ECT to break at the bottom depth hoar layer, but instead we had ECTN15 @ 39cm. Continued the ECT past this result and got ECTP23 @ 39cm. This 39cm layer was the wind slab resting on top of older storm snow. I would guess a lot of this wind transport was from Friday, when we had strong winds in the area. Continued wind transport today as well On the tour up, we experienced widespread collapsing when traveling on wind-loaded areas.
