Snowing, heavy NW wind loading E and SE aspects.

10-12 inches of heavy storm snow on top of sun crust.

Avalanche

Skier triggered, 11000 feet, E-SE. I was able to trigger the ridge(skin-track) from the trees 1/3 of the way up marble bowl. The slide broke 10-12 inches deep in freshly formed wind slab on top of sun crust. Slide propagated at least 50 feet across and ran down into the bowl.
