Weather
Warm day with moderate ridgetop winds from the southwest. Light wind transport observed at ridgetop.
Snowpack
I traveled on east to north aspects below, near, and above treeline and poked a little ways below ridgetop onto a west aspect as well. Below treeline, recent new snow was wet and mushy, sitting on an isothermal snowpack. Near and above treeline, the recent new snow was moist on north aspects, trending more wet on east to southeast aspects. There was little to no evidence of water percolating deeper into the snowpack on north or east aspects at these elevations. Winds were keeping the snow surface on higher elevation west aspects dry.
Avalanche
Numerous WL avalanches observed out of rocky areas near the Nokhu Crags.
