Weather

overcast with low clouds throughout morning, becoming partly cloudy by late afternoon. little to no precipitation throughout day. temps in upper 20s to low 30s. light winds in morning, decreasing throughout the day.

Snowpack

sporadic rime/freezing fog crust found throughout ascent from 8500 - 9900 feet. dug pit on 30 degree NE aspect @ 9600 feet BTL. HS 175 cm. two CTMs @ 23 and 22 approx 30 cm down. one ETCN @ 23 approx 30 cm down.

Avalanche

Some reactivity on wind-loaded east aspects near ridgeline. No whumphing or collapsing observed. No avalanches seen.
